Kathryn Pearson is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What Information Do we Need?

When you book onto an EFT, coaching or Yoga session (group or private) we will need your contact details, your name, phone number, address, postcode and email address. We will also need information about your child’s age and health prior to the session with Kathryn Pearson (Yoga & EFT).

Why Do We Need It, How Will I Use It and How Long Will I Retain It?

We need these details (listed above) to meet Insurance Company criteria and in order to ensure that the service provided to you is as safe as can be, and can also be tailored to your (or your child’s) needs, therefore being most beneficial to you (them). Kathryn Pearson will store your (or your child’s) information for as long as you (they) are a regular student, or 7 years after the date of your (their) last session with me (or for 7 years after you have reached the age of 18 if you (they) are/were under 18 when the session took place).

How the data is stored:

Paper copies of health Declarations and personal session notes are stored in a locked place at my home address.  Computer stored files are protected with a password that only I have access to. We generally only keep paper files, unless you send them via email.

Our lawful basis for processing this personal information is ‘contract’, this means that we have a legal reason to ask you for your data because we need it for contractual reasons. You do not have to share your (or your child’s) personal data with Kathryn Pearson, but if you do not we cannot offer you a session with ‘Kathryn Pearson Yoga or EFT’. You must fulfil your side of the contract (share your personal information and give consent) in order for me to fulfil mine (carry out a session).

We would also like to send you information to inform you of news & offers, any upcoming local events being organised and videos and services using the information you have shared with us, but you do not have to agree to this to access a session. Kathryn occasionally writes blogs and sends out newsletters. If you agree to being contacted for the above purposes using the following methods you need do nothing. You may withdraw this consent at any time by emailing me at

Will Kathryn Pearson Share Your Information?

Kathryn will not share your information with anyone /third party. If Kathryn is sick or unavailable and has to provide group session cover – a ‘stand-in’ teacher will take over. For your health and safety (& Insurance compliance) they will need health information to make the class safe/appropriate.
