Kathryn is a fully qualified and insured Teen Yoga Instructor; qualified to teach mindfulness and yoga to teenagers with and holds a full DRB check, insurance and first aid certificate.

Kathryn is also available to hold workshops, intensive days and inspirational talks around exam stress, relaxations and de-stressing techniques, boosting confidence and building resilience to stress.

Kathryn holds a weekly class in Dinnington, each Wednesday at 5.45pm. This class is NOW FULL. Please register your interest for when free places become available.

Why Yoga?

Its philosophy is rooted in a physical culture of health and well-being that is still emphasised today and explains why over 15 million people in the world now practise this ancient tradition.

Each posture (asana) has its own unique benefits, The downward facing dog for example, is said to calm the brain, energise the body, improve digestion, strengthen arms and legs and be therapeutic for high blood pressure.

Why Teen Yoga?

Teen Yoga is a specialist and fully accredited course with modules covering Psychology, Neuroscience, Anatomy and Physiology, Applied Chakra theory, Child Protection and Safeguarding of children.

Kathryn tailors classes to suit the physiological and emotional needs of her clients and classes to ensure they get holistic benefits. Reducing stress, improving confidence and happiness, focussing the thoughts and holding space for young people to explore their thoughts and feelings.
Yoga is an excellent exercise for the physical body; helping improve physical fitness, flexibility, strength, posture, lung capacity, reduce aches and pains and helps with the physical symptoms of stress such as IBS or headaches.

It is also beneficial for emotional and mental health; breathing and focusing techniques and the discussion of the Yamas and Niyamas, help calm and reduce the ‘mind chatter’ and negative mindsets which teens today sometimes have.
